Your Dubai Salon Answers Booking DMs All Day. Your Clients Want to Book at Midnight.

A client sees your nail work on Instagram at 11:40 at night. She sends a message: "Any slot on Thursday?" You see it at 10 the next morning, between two appointments. You reply. She answers at lunch. You offer 4 pm. She asks about 5. By the time it is settled, it took six messages and a day and a half.

Some clients wait for that. Many book somewhere that lets them pick a time right away.

Clients Book When You Are Closed

Fresha's co-founder has said that 41% of online bookings on the platform take place outside business hours. Square's 2023 data from the US and Canada found that 75% of clients book their appointments through an online booking site, and among clients who also see other stylists, 57% named difficulty scheduling or booking as a reason.

Those numbers are not from Dubai, but the habit is the same anywhere people live on their phones: the decision to book happens late at night, on the sofa, in a few taps. If the only way in is a DM, you are asking the client to wait for you.

What a Good Salon Booking Page Needs

  1. Services with clear durations, so the calendar only offers slots that really fit.
  2. Staff choice, for clients who always want the same stylist.
  3. Confirmation and reminder messages, to cut no-shows.
  4. Your work, not stock photos. Real before and after shots from your chairs.
  5. Arabic and English, since Dubai clients switch between both.

Put the Booking Link Where Clients Already Look

Your booking page works best when it is one tap away everywhere. Google Business Profile lets you add links for actions like booking appointments, up to 10 links per category, and Google also connects some booking providers through Reserve with Google. Add the same link to your Instagram profile and your WhatsApp Business profile.

One detail matters: send those links to your own site. A marketplace listing is useful for discovery, but your own booking page keeps the client relationship, the reviews and the rebooking with you.

A Quick Self-Check

  • Can a new client book a specific service with a specific person tonight without messaging you?
  • Do clients get a reminder the day before?
  • Does your Google profile have a booking link?
  • If you lost your Instagram account tomorrow, would you still have your client list?

If you answered no to two or more, the DMs are costing you bookings you never see.

FAQ

Do I still need Instagram if I have a booking website?

Yes. Instagram is where clients discover your work. The website is where they book. Link the two.

Will older clients use online booking?

Most will if it is simple. Keep phone and WhatsApp booking for those who prefer it, and let everyone else book in a few taps.

Can I take deposits to reduce no-shows?

Yes. Many booking setups can take a deposit or card at booking. Decide your policy first, then show it clearly on the page.
