What a 7-day website build actually looks like

"Live in about a week" sounds like a corner being cut. It isn't. It's what happens when the slow parts of web development, boilerplate, revisions-by-email, ticket queues, get compressed by building with Claude Code while a human stays on the design decisions. Here's the honest day-by-day.

Days 1–2: the conversation and the skeleton

We start with a real conversation: your business, your customers, what the site must actually do (bookings? calls? orders? trust?). Then we build the full skeleton with Claude Code the same day: structure, pages, and a first pass of real copy, never lorem ipsum. You see something that looks like a website within 48 hours.

Days 3–4: design, content, and the first review

This is where the site becomes yours: brand colors, typography, photography, and copy tuned to how you actually talk. Then you review it, live, on your phone and ours. Because changes are cheap with Claude Code, "can we try the header in the other direction?" takes minutes, not a revision cycle.

Days 5–6: the details that read as premium

• Speed: images compressed, pages loading in under two seconds.
• Search: titles, descriptions, social-share previews, sitemap.
• Polish: hover states, animations, empty states, the 404 page.
• Everything tested on mobile, tablet, and desktop.

Day 7: launch and handover

The site goes live on your domain, in your accounts. Then the part we care most about: a short handover call where you make your first edit yourself, by asking Claude Code. Most people need about twenty minutes to stop being nervous and start having ideas.

Complex builds, e-commerce, multiple languages, custom features, can take longer than a week, and we'll say so before we start. But the shape never changes: conversation, build, polish, keys.
